Did you recently find out you’re pregnant? If so, you’re likely feeling overwhelmed, scared, worried, and all the feelings in between. However, you’re not alone.

At The Legacy Center, we can help you learn about every pregnancy option with an Options Consultation appointment. Remember, you have three options: parenting, adoption, and abortion.

We’ll answer your questions during your consultation, share helpful resources, and provide medically accurate information.

Options Consultation appointments are provided in a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental environment and are directed by our trained and experienced staff members.

During your appointment, we’ll walk through:

  • The approximate gestational age of your pregnancy and due date
  • Paternity and relationship questions
  • Basic health questions and concerns related to the pregnancy
  • Your pregnancy options and your next steps
  • Available support and resources to help you

How Can I Prepare for My Appointment?

You only need to bring yourself (and a support individual like a friend, family member, or partner, if that would help you feel most comfortable) to your Options Consultation appointment.

However, it can be helpful to think through your options beforehand and create a list of questions you want answered during the appointment.

Asking yourself the following questions about your three options can help you know where to begin:

  • Am I feeling pressured into one decision over another?
  • Are circumstances making me feel like certain pregnancy options are off the table?
  • What pregnancy option do I desire most?
  • How might I feel if I choose parenting? Adoption? Abortion?
  • What might my life look like if I decide to parent? Adopt? Abort?

Options Consultation appointments can meet your unique needs. We’ll share details about North Carolina laws and what’s available, and you’ll also receive information about each option. Plus, you’ll have space to ask questions and feel supported.
